Job Description:
- Plan, organize, direct, monitor and control projects using project management disciplines following defined industry standards, using a variety of tools and methods
- Understand scope of project and ensure it is understood throughout other areas of the organization
- Define project goals, objectives, products, services, constraints, assumptions, risks, and facilitated processes by working with the project team, sponsor, and stakeholders to baseline the scope of work and enable development of the plan. Ensure accountability for every deliverable
- Build and manage an effective team by responsibly developing/executing sourcing and staffing decisions, setting clear expectations, resolving issues, monitoring workload, coaching and providing leadership
- Manage project communications
- Be accountable for project effectiveness in meeting established goals and targets
- Build and maintain appropriate relationships with business and Systems partners and vendors
- Demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge and understanding of technology and/or business processes, associated issues, and alignment with organizational strategies
- Understand the needs of business partners as well as application development and service support areas
- Manage scope, costs, and quality of project
- Submit lessons learned or best practices for publishing within knowledge repository when the potential for reuse in other areas exists
- Establish, maintain, and control program or project management plans and report progress to the sponsors
- Ensure on-time and on-budget performance of the assigned efforts to the mutual satisfaction of the business partners/sponsors
- Complete transition to service environment
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and reviews of project deliverable
