Nice-to-Have Skills:
1) Knowledge of chemistry or other related scientific discipline
2) Familiar with Apple Macintosh OS X Operating Systems
3) Familiar with multiple web browsers (versions should include current and two (2) versions prior to the current version), including IE, FireFox, and Safari
4) Knowledge of testing practices
5) Knowledge of HP/Mercury automated test tools (Quality Center)
Description of Services:
1) Execute Test Cases and Test Scripts, defined as:
a) Perform the step by step tasks and activities defined by the assigned test script and/or procedure
b) Analyzing and decomposing requirement artifacts, design artifacts, and related acceptance criteria to identify appropriate test cases and test scripts
c) Develop and document the test cases and test scripts
2) Modify Test Cases and Test Scripts, defined as:
a) Analyzing and decomposing defects reported against test cases/scripts and compare the “defective test(s) to requirement artifacts, design artifacts, and related acceptance criteria to identify appropriate test cases and test scripts corrections
b) Renovate/update and document the test cases and test scripts
3) Reporting defects, including:
a) Attend periodic Defect Triage meetings
b) Entering and reporting defects discovered during QA activities or test execution
c) Assigning initial severity and priority to defects discovered
d) Retesting all assigned defects
