Job Description:
The Deployment Engineers must understand all aspects of the Deployment process to provide the necessary support to the teams. The Deployment will be expected to create Continuous Integration Scripts, Convert Code Repositories from CVS to Git, Support Git, create and utilized Deployment Standards, Create and Support Build Once Deploy Many strategies, Support Development teams with questions any deployment related questions and the usage of Git.
Our Environment:
- Development teams use Vendor Packages (e.g. GuideWire, nexJ, Informatica) and custom develop apps using Java and deployed to JBoss servers.
- Deployment Engineers utilize these Build and SCM tools: CA Harvest, Hudson, ANT, Open Make/ Meister, and Perl.
- Deployment Engineers work with these versioning tools: CVS, Git
Required Skills:
